Hi Greyman,

You are da man! Now I am flying it for the first time in a long while. Thanks a lot.

I had a bit of an exchange of emails with the X-Plane.org shop about their non-returns policy, after I bought this, as I was experiencing exactly the same thing and I think I tried the clickable zones option to see if it would increase my chances of hitting the switches, as a bit of a last resort.

It looks like SSG, either deliberately or not, have provided a workaround for us VR users, for something that I have not seen in any other aircraft.

I reported this problem to SSG when I first experienced it with x-plane 10. The other aircraft having the same problem is EADT x737. So I also reported to them. Since both a/c uses UFMC, I also mentioned it on xfmc thread. But I never got any response. Someone remarked that VR was still a tiny fringe that all I could do was simply wait. The newly released EADT 737-700 for x-plane 11 does not have this problem anymore.

The idea of checking off the clickable zones did cross my mind before, but seeing how horrible it makes cockpit look in other aircraft makes me not wanting to go there. I am glad you are not afraid of trying new things and found the fix.

Hi!

Has there ever been a fix for this? I'm having the same problem (mouse disappearing / stuck in upper left corner) mostly during the last portion of any given flight. The problem was already present in previous versions, and with several aircraft (Aerosoft A320, Carenado Beech), but it was still possible to have at least some control over the aircraft using the interact button.
I've recently updated to 1.81 and the new PMDG NGX version (v1.20.8413), and the same thing happened during the last 3 flights in the NGX: Mouse disappearing, and when trying to use the interact button, there's a CTD a few seconds later.

EDIT: Turns out the CTD can be easily and reliably reproduced anytime by just trying to manipulate a cockpit element using the interaction dot. It only happens in PMDG aircraft though: Default, Aerosoft and Carenado planes are fine, no crash. I did a clean re-install of the NGX, but to no avail.

Sim, how the issue occurred, anything you did to fix or no joy ?

As this bug tends to occur after about 6 hours, i tend to stick to shorter flights nowadays, although it would be nice to fly a transatlantic flight every now and again, when i have some time off work. The bug really does look like some form of overflow error, as if you look at the log.txt file, when it has happened, the time stamp suddenly goes negative and the number it was at before doing so sort of equates to the number of seconds in 6 hours. Maybe a coincidence, but i wouldn't bet on it. ;)

In the PMDG NGX, it occurs much sooner, about 1h15 into each flight. Around the 3-hour mark, the mouse pointer will eventually re-appear.

Any solution, Flyinside team? I have this happening on X-plane and Prepar3d V4 everytime after an hour of flight. I've seen many posts with the same problem, it is a bug in code most likely.

Any chance that someone will look into this?
