If you are getting the following errors with Flyinside and the latest Oculus runtime = "FlyInside Fatal Error Encountered (-2005270523, 0)
Rendering\D3D11\D3D11Context.cpp: Line 117"
please leave a reply below, Dan is aware and is looking into this.

Hi Guys,

I have had this error a couple of times since Oculus updated its runtime (I am in public Beta).

And please let us know if its the beta version with Dash or non beta standard.

Hi Tony,

I rolled back to the non-beta runtime, and tried again.

I once more got a CTD after about 20 minutes flying :-(

Yes im have a lot of trouble after the last oculus update . Why cant they ask first i even have updates turned off.

I get this error at random, but it's always triggered by using my joystick button to hide/unhide windows.

Hi,

after the Oculus Runtime update i got the Flyinside "fatal error message" only once. Thereafter flying with Flyinside for FSX and P3D 4.1 has become basically impossible for me (whereas the fatal error message did not apear again). Heavy stutters even with the lowest possible settings in P3D and FSX. These stutters also have a huge Impact on the flyinside menu making it very hard to make precise changes to the settings within the menu. A vanilla install of P3D as well as trying various Nvidia graphic drivers had no effect on the stuttering. Opting out of the beta-runtime had also no effect.

I did not make any changes to P3D or FSX, the hardware (Core i7 @ 4.00ghz / 16GB ram / Gforce GTX 980TI) or my OS (Win 10 - V.1709) before these stutters occured for the first time.

P3D and FSX still run flawlessly in 2d (i.e. without using Flyinside). Also the native P3D VR runs without (unusual) issues. Flyinside for Xplane however runs as smooth as before, same is true for native XPlane VR and for all my other VR capable programmes.

Cheers for the info. I'll pass it to Dan. As an aside when I opted into the oculus beta with Dash I got horrendous stutters so I drastically reinstalled my system, loaded everything up again and voila. Smooth as silk again. But I'll still get Dan to look into this mate ;)
