Fsx FlyInside not showing as vr

When I start fsx FlyInside the display in my oculus goggles show fsx as a concave 2 dimensional display. If I load the FlyInside flight sim it runs fine...X-Plane 11 runs fine. The only thing that runs in 2d is fsx FlyInside. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Are you using the steam version of FSX ?

Can you find then save or delete your xxx.cfg

Is the xxx.cfg found in the fsx folder or the fly inside folder, or both?

Also, when I downloaded and installed fsx FlyInside I got an error “simconnect 10.0.61259.0”.

Sorry that should read fsx.cfg And have you got the patches for fsx gold??? I think there is a few posts here regarding the simconnect issue, I'll have a look for you.

Downloading sp1 and then sp2 then uninstalling and reinstalling FlyInside for fsx solved the problem. Thank you for all your help. I do have one more question. I intend to purchase both FlyInside simulator and FlyInside for fsx. I will then activate both on my present computer. I intend on getting a new computer in the next 6 months. Can I then install both softwares, FlyInside for fsx and FlyInside flightsim on my new computer at no extra charge? Again,thank you for all your help.
