I’m looking at buying FI because my son wants to learn to fly using a flight simulator and I understood that it is much better to do in VR.
Unfortunately I’m a bit confused about the versions of FI and I need some help.
Do I understand correctly that FlyInside for FSX and “FlyInside Flight Simulator” which I found on Steam are two different products?
If so, am I correct in understanding that the lessons/school in FSX are much more exhaustive than the two lessons included in FlyInside Flight Simulator (released on 22 Feb), and for the purpose of leaning to flying I am better off with FSX?
And if so, if I want to use FlyInside for FSX (especially for the flight school/lessons built into FSX), am I better of with the Steam Edition, or does FlyInside for FSX not work with the steam edition? Or is there a better edition that I should use?
I already have a USB yoke and rudder pedals, and plan to use the Leap Motion technology to hopefully give my son the most realistic feeling possible of controlling an actual aircraft. Any advice/warnings about this idea?
Thanks for your advice!
