Yup we are aware, a fix is in the works

OK all you people waiting patiently, a hotfix is now available until the proper patch comes out hopefully by the end of the week.

Please be aware that Dan is away from his office at this time and because of this your Anti-Virus might throw a false reading for a virus. Set to trust and download. It is safe and I have just tried it. You have my guarantee it's not a virus.

Just drop this in your steamlibrary/steamapps/common/xplane11 folder and replace the flyinsideXP file and you should be good to go

If you downloaded direct from Laminar this hotfix doesn't apply to you

It worked exactly 1 session.. And now I got same problems and can't get it to work. still the same "Crash reporter" errors and Steam is not running problems.

I really was looking forward to this program when I bought it today.

OK thats not a Flyinside crash but X-Plane. Are you using stock aircraft and scenery ? Try lowering all your settings first. But make sure HDR is one down from max and try again. Does it restart in VR ok? I am not getting any crashes this end.

Also make sure Steam is open then go to your shortcut option and find the new Flyinside XP icon in the x-plane folder and use that as your launcher also.

Xplane launches fine on his own. No problem. I have set all the graphics to low, and the game launches fine.

But when I launch Flyinside, the game crashes on startup. Then when I reboot, the game starts fine again. Until I launch Flyinside again. Then the game won't start.

The game only crashes when I start FLyinside. Also, I deleted the Preference folder and unplugged my joystick. Just to see if that was the problem. Still no luck.

OK go to your appdata folder/roaming, look for the flyinside folder and find the error log and upload it here. I'll get the devs to look for you. If it's too large then use my email address below.
