Product update for P3d v4.3 compatibility

Postby Antonisrho » Tue Aug 21, 2018 1:06 pm

Hi guys, I'm opening this thread just to ask, are you still supporting your product? There is s series of bugs that you confirmed and the last update we had is that "we know and we are fixing it" or on the 18th of July you said that "Looking for a hotfix early next week". More than a month later there is no hotfix but there is also some deafening silence on your behalf! Many of us cannot revert to the previous 4.2 version anymore so we would really appreciate any update from you regarding a more stable version for P3d 4.3. Many thanks!

Not an official response by any means, but the lack of any updates or response tends to indicate it’s no longer supported.

My only recommendation would be to start working on optimizing for P3D native VR mode as if FlyInside doesn’t work for you now, the apparent total lack of interest would indicate it won’t ever.

It’s really sad it’s come to this. I’m frustrated too. I’ve got a Pro that FlyInside doesn’t send the right resolution image data too and we're nearing six months of no fix for that.

I've been trying to get the attention of the dev/official support for some weeks now.

I suspect they are either no longer supporting this, or all attention has been put to their 'flyinside sim' - quite why they feel another sim is a good idea is beyond me...

I have to agree. Most people have invested close to thousands in P3D (or X Pane) and really aren’t going to consider starting again. Aero fly 2 is an amazing VR sim, but few people use it for the above reasons.

It is sad that FlyInside seems to be dead as far as development goes, I spent so much time persuading freinds to go VR and buy Fi, that I now feel a bit guilty

Working great so far except for the WX Radar/Terrain problems with FSLabs 320X. Also Is there any way to know what resolution the 2x resolution multiplier equates to?
