In typical Lockheed fashion the next version of our beloved flightsim is coming out today with very little warning beforehand
I just discovered this through the following article this morning

Physics based rendering is to be included which should drastically improve realism after content providers have modified their planes and scenery

I am going to assume that Flyinside will need to be updated for this major flightsim upgrade
Can someone from admin confirm this?

Yes we will need a new version, because FI does not start up with 4.4
- ORBX is up to date and ready
- Active Sky is up to date
- FSUIPC is up to date
- FI ?????????????????

I hope that it will not last 2 month like with 4.3. Meanwhile i will check what has be changed in native VR .

Do you have a role out date for the 4.4 compatible?? Last minute? Hardly, it was announced back in the beginning of September, how do you think every other addon supplier hit the deadline,? Come on bud, stop messing around with a new simulator, which will take years to get up to the standard of those already out there, and focus on the product that actually got you a name in the first place!!!

Will mot update to 4.4 before new update of FI. don't want too be out of Fsim for months again..

We have black gentlemen, you can wait 2 or three months or maybe it will never come, I do not want to imagine how much time will pass, if we had to wait 3 months to get the version of 4.3 and about 6 months so that it was well stable and without problems of external cameras ect ... now that they have created their new toy the new simulator that in my opinion is worthless, we can wait forever, now they do not take care of the people who had trusted in their product, they only create another product to sell But, I think they are very wrong with that philosophy, if they continue that way, the only thing that will happen is that the native VR will reach the level that everyone wants and flyinside will not be worth anything, maybe it is what they are interested in, stay with the clients of his new toy

Stop worrying so much We've been working on this, and we'll be distributing to beta testers early next week (e-mail me if you're interested). Assuming no major issues found it'll be live pretty soon.

Likewise. Incidentally, 4.4 native VR seems to have resolved spinning clouds. Hopefully you can manage the same thing in flyinside! And SOON!
