Control of Pop Up Windows

If I fly in native P3d without the Rift headset, pressing SHIFT + [a number] gives me a pop-up window as defined in the aircraft's panel.cfg file. If I try this with FlyInsideP3D4 I note that a second screen appears on my monitor, with the appropriate pop-up. However, I have found that the pop-up may or may not appear in the 3D window, and it can appear apparently almost anywhere. Once I have it I can resize or reposition it with no problem, except that these windows appear to randomly reposition themselves.

Is this a problem for anyone else, or should I be doing something differently?

OK by trial and error I seem to have found a method -

1. Load the aircraft, remove headset.
2. Press F10 to switch to 2D mode.
3. Invoke pop-ups (Press SHIFT+[numbers], see pop-ups appear on 2nd screen on monitor.
4. Press F9, put headset on.
5. Use mouse to position pop-ups and re-size as needed.
6. Fly!

I have another issue with pop-up windows; I can press SHIFT+[Number] to create my pop-ups, but they appear at all sorts of places and at all sorts of crazy angles when I don the headset. I have found that if I leave them alone and take-off and fly, after a minute or so they seem to get themselves into some sort of order ready to be resized or moved. Is there any way I can trigger this self ordering process?

After more experiments, I have now got the pop-ups operating in the way I think they are supposed to. The necessary steps were -

1 - Start menu > FlyInside P3D4 > Reset FlyInside P3D4 Settings
This step removed my activation and settings, I had to re-activate the software, and I had lost all previous settings. This cleaned up my system.

2 - I reset my activate button, then created bindings for Reset Head Position, Zoom Toggle and Centre Mouse, which I find are the most useful.

3- Each time I run the software I restart the computer first. If I don't the software does not work correctly.

I now have discovered another issue with pop-up windows. I have now got the import window working, so I can have Plan-G in my view when I wear the VR headset. The only trouble is that once this has been done, that window becomes the "active", so that pressing Shift+[N] is processed by Plan-G, rather than P3D, so I can't get my P3D pop-up. The current workaround is to remove the headset, park Plan-G on the taskbar, then press Shift+[N] to get the pop-up, then restore Plan-G, then put the headset back on. Its OK when on the ground, but not good if in the air.
