Does FlyInside work with the current 4.5.13.32097??

Postby denrainwater » Fri Feb 21, 2020 4:58 pm

After a lengthy hiatus, I am trying to get back into simming again. I have the current version of P3D 4.5 installed, and am wondering if there is a version of FlyInside that supports 4.5. Skimming the backlog of posts here on the forum, it frankly doesn't look encouraging... Am I missing something?

I'd prefer not to try to fly with P3D's 'native' VR, as FI offers many useful features I'd miss a great deal. But if I will be stuck with native VR, I've read that trying to install FI might compromise the ability to fly that way, and it could be hard to restore that ability without yet another fresh install of P3D...

Hoping for good news....

I'd say to a certain extent it does. If you are willig to live with PBR issues, lighting problems (different images for both eyes) then you can go for it. All of these issues have been brought up a long time ago ...

Thank you Frank. I guess I'll give it a try...

If this doesn't work out to my satisfaction, what version of P3D does the presently available version of FI work well with? And does anyone know if those 'roll-back versions' are still available for download from LM?
