Aerosoft A320 Prof. in P3D4 blocked by window resizing issue

Postby ChristianH » Fri Nov 29, 2019 1:14 pm

After I enjoyed a lot for some years flying Aerosoft's A320 in Flyinside on FSX, Win10 updates now forced me to move to P3Dv4.5 and the new Aerosoft A320 Professional (64-bit version). The combination of FlyInside and A320 again works generally well. For the new A320, Aerosoft decided to implement the airplane's settings no longer on the right MCDU but by a new floating window of a 3rd MCDU.

Also the new floating window was first treated well by FlyInside. But after a longer session of optimizing settings in FlyInside, P3D and Nvidia, one day I noticed that something is wrong: Pressing buttons on the MCDU seemed to have effects on the plane but not on the display of the MCDU anymore. So, I now get lost with the settings because the MCDU display is wrong, keeping a static display. In P3D, it's still all fine. You can see this when the window size is changed, comparing FlyInside vs. P3D: In P3D the window is redrawn, in FlyInside it only gets stretched. The following images compare the initial MCDU windows vs. stretched windows in P3D and FlyInside:

P3D Initial (looks identical in FlyInside, can only upload 3 images here):

P3D overstretched (redrawn, readable and functional):

mcdu3-p3d-overstretched.PNG (72.79 KiB) Viewed 115 times

FlyInside overstretched (not redrawn but stretched only, not functional):

I am desperate(!) because this issue completely blocks the A320: Without the MCDU settings, plane functions like boarding, pushback, ground services are not accessible, so the plane cannot be used any more.

Any solution available for this? Somehow, redrawing of the MCDU window needs to be triggered again. I already reset the FlyInside settings as well as P3D and Nvidia settings, but this did not help.

Thank you!
