P3D D3D11\DX11 Error

Hello!

I am using oculus dk2, 0.6.0.0 version of the sdk and runtime.
P3D is 2.5
Windows 8.1
pc specs are:

i7 4790k
2x 780 in SLI
32gb 1866 ram
P3D is installed on an SSD.

I have installed Flyinside and it does change the settings ingame automaticly and displays some flyinside menu on the rift(running in direct mode), when i have picked a plane and situation and try to enter the sim itself i get an error saying:

Fatal error Encountered
Rendering\D3D11\DX11Texture.CPP: Line29

Could you try disabling SLI for Prepar3D? I don't have the setup to test it yet, it could be leading to that bug.

Sadly i get the same error with SLI disabled. I have tried re-installing everything except P3D and running everything as admin, still no joy.

I will update you if i get it to work but would greatly appriciate any help you have time to give me!

I have also tried with 5.0.1 and still the same issue, might be Driver related? i use 353.30.

I run 353.30 also so I don't think that's it. Could you send me your Prepar3D.cfg file to CrazyNorman@gmail.com? Also, are you using any flight sim add-ons?

Hi,
first thanks a lot for this nice piece of software, great work. I had the same error! deleting my prepar3d.cfg worked.
So there is something worng in the config, i'll try to find out the malfunction.

I had that error too which i think was some corrupt scenery. I ended up starting from scratch and de-installing, re-installing p3d, and then getting flyinside to work on a vanilla install. Then testing and backing up after each add on.
