Rotating clouds in P3Dv4

Postby pidi72 » Thu Oct 19, 2017 9:22 am

First of all the new FlyInside for P3Dv4 is looking absolutely brilliant.
Thank you to the Flyinside-Team for all their hard work!

Only one problem I have. Im using AS4+ASCA and the rotating clouds are back. In the version for P3D v1-v3 there is an option for an alternative cloud drawing. That solved the problem for me. In P3Dv4 I miss this option and the clouds are spinning all around me. Any possibility to bring back this alternative to the new version of FlyInside?

It will be better if there were no more rotating clouds at all! Now in the native vr of P3dv4 there is no more rotative clouds (of what I test): so it is possible !! Flyinisde do something ! This is so annoying...

I am also getting the spinning / rotating clouds with AS4 and ASCA. The in cloud motion effects through AS4 settings helps to mask it, but it doesn't always kick in with cumulus or low scud. I haven't flown without Flyinside since getting it so I cannot be certain if this is solely with Flyinside or not.

I read in the general forum that there are quite a few who are not noticing the spinning clouds, including Tony. It would be great if we could recognize some setting(s) we may have inadvertently changed or something.

Edit: I took one for the team and flew around with the native VR. I was still getting the spinning clouds, so I do not think it is an issue with Flyinside. However, I am very curious why / how Tony and the others are not seeing them rotate.

Very curious also ...only 2 guys seems not to notice anymore..
In native p3d vr the effect is very small but it is the rotating clouds around the head mouvement but it is very small for me less more than with flyinside...This was an option in flysinside for p3dv3.

I just use plain stock clouds......nothing more nothing less........Also for my enjoyment and pure fluidity I mainly fly in CAVOK.
