Carrier and ship wake

Postby Skyspin » Tue Jan 09, 2018 12:10 pm

Recently upgraded to P3Dv4 Flyinside. Cannot get ships wake to appear with lots of testing and settings changes.. All appear normal in P3Dv3. Cannot figure this one out. Any help or similar experience attributed to this fault would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Skyspin

Tony, I'm confused. What/WHERE is "VR optimization"?

Sorry to sound so thick......

You open the FlyInside menu in vr and go to settings IIRC

Thanks for the reply but when following the directions
You open the FlyInside menu in vr and go to settings IIRC

I cannot locate when I start FLYINSIDE...go to settings... nothing there that indicates IIRC.. perhaps a little more direction please..
Thanks

When you press the interaction button/key and see the Flyinside user interface, go to settings in the heading and change there ;)

Still looking. When I go to settings there is no reference to or any specific wording of vr optimization to be on or off.
Thanks,

Well with no solution yet maybe I can point out that when using P3Dv4.1 in native VR the wakes of the ships...AI Carriers, TacPack carriers, and CCP of FSX@War carriers the wakes of the carriers and the
associated ships inserted in missions or added AI ships the wakes are all visible and appear normal.
With FLYINSIDE engaged with the same setting as the FlyInside P3Dv3 there is no wake of any. Clearly there is a difference caused by FlyInside.. In P3Dv3 with FlyInside engaged and with the same settings all is normal and the wakes are visible.
Sincerely,
Skyspin
