Hmmm you may have a missing C++ somewhere. Our error message usually means a configuration error somewhere. Do you use triple head to go or similar for multi monitors ? You defo don't have onboard graphics on the mobo ? So the vive is plugged into the gpu hdmi port and the monitor into another hdmi/dvi port ?

I have on-board graphics, but I can confirm 100% that both the Monitor and Vive are plugged into the GTX 1080TI graphics card, both HDMI.

For the triple monitor setup I normally use, I just use 2x HDMI 1x Display Port on the 1080TI.

It wasn't showing up in device manager but I went into the BIOS and disabled it just to be sure, still not working :(

Hmmm this has me confused mate ??? Ok start P3D up normally. Save a flight in the vc. Then exit. Make sure your steam vr is up and running then start p3d via Flyinside again. I'll take a good look at your logs tonight when I'm in front of my pc. Do you have any other sims ?

Yeh, I'm confused as well. I really don't want to do a fill sim re-install, but at this rate it looks like I might have to.

I did that exact sequence, still crashed with the same error. I even ensured that almost all other applications were closed, in case it was a memory issue.

I did remember that I have the Xplane 11 Demo install. Tried Flyinside with that and it works fine.

I upgraded to P3D V4.2 and reinstalled Flyinside 1.92 and now I'm getting a new error.

And the error logs since the upgrade are also attached.

I've had 2 different Flyinside fatal errors

The dxgi thing is a card fault or driver fault i think. Try 388.57 driver to help with that. As for the other it's still telling me it doesn't like the way the vive is attached or the onboard graphics interfering. Does the native vr work ?

I was on the latest driver version, 391.24, but downgraded to the closest I could find to that version which was 388.59. Didn't affect anything, still the same issue.

P3D Native VR works fine, as do all other VR apps and games.

Also I wont be able to test anything for the next 11 hours due to work.

OK here is a few things to try when you get the chance mate :)

1. Try disabling Flux

2. Try cleaning C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\*Local*\Lockheed Martin to force a fresh shader cache, this could possibly cause this issue.

3. If that doesn't do the trick, Dan may need to debug over TeamViewer. Can you confirm whether you get into the cockpit at all, and if it always crashes <10 seconds afterwards?
