Unhappy new Customer with old "Fatal Error" Story :-(

Postby Tomsel » Mon Mar 26, 2018 7:07 am

Hi there,

after about 5 unsuccessful attempts I got the trial version 1.92 to run and was thrilled. So I bought Flyinside for P3D4 and that's where the trouble started: P3D4 loads the scenery up to 100% and then zap! (see screenshot and log file)

Flyinside Fatal Error Encountered (-2005270523, 0)
Rendering\D3D11\D3D11Context.cpp: Line 316

I deleted all shaders before, deleted the prepared.cfg so that FlyInside can make the necessary changes, etc. etc...

system:
i7-7700k 4.2 GHz, 32GB RAM, 2x 2TB m2 disk, nvidia 1080TI 11GB (driver 390.77, D3D-API 12), Win10 64, P3D V4.2. NO OVERCLOCKING!

I have now spent 3 hours looking for bugs but I think it's more due to Flyinside, especially since other users have the same problems despite the current Flyinside version.

I ask for quick help, thank you very much!

Hi Tomsel,

I recently looked at a very similar issue with another customer, and it was a config issue. It sounds like you already cleared your config between prepar3d.cfg and shaders though  Would you be interested in TeamViewing together so that I can debug? Shoot me an e-mail - dan@flyinside-fsx.com

Sorry for the trouble!

Thanks,
Dan
