Interaction button not working

It will work once at splash screen. When it was working, the blue menu didn't come up sometimes. Joystick button is recognized in the game.

Had to reinstall, again, but that fixed it.

It was for a week, it has come back. This is getting really old. Any suggestion, other than reinstall?

Now it's running OK again. I think it started with the problem after playing with virtual desktop, not sure
