Virtual Cockpit Disappears Contantly

Postby frank.wessel » Sun Jun 17, 2018 10:50 am

I am being kicked out of the virtual cockpit and find myself in the flyinside menu / virtual Desktop mode in irregular intervals. This strange behaviour occured first about two weeks ago, no clue why. Frame rates are fine, this happens for my PMDG fleet as well as P3D aircraft.

Flyinside simply switches to the virtual destop mode and is "waiting for the flight simulator". A couple of seconds later, the virtual cockpits shows up again. Sometimes this happens a couple of times per minute, sometimes only now and then.

I am using P3D 4.2 and Flyinside 1.92 for Oculus.

Has anyone observed this behaviour as well? Flyinside is not usable any longer :-(
Please let me know if there is anything more that you need to know!

Hi Tony,

it in fact might have …

Unfortunately, I haven't flown after the update for a week or so - so I cannot really say if the update was the root cause. I am already happy, if some others have observed this effect and even better, if Dan is already working on it! Is he?

Yippie, I am not alone any longer :-)

I'd very much appreciate any kind of feedback from the development team, if this has at least been looked into and 'accepted' as a bug ...

Also have this problem, along with not being able to select things easily. I point at something, and it takes several attempts to get it to work. :? Pete

Hi guys, I had this problem while using PRO-ATC-X. it was one of its latest updates that completely messed this up. I reverted back to 1.8.7.9 and the problem went away. Not sure if that's the case for you!
