Trial Version error

Hi,

I have download and installed your FLYINSIDE_P3D4_Pro_1.98 OVR_1300 trial program. When I click on your FLYINSIDE desktop Icon, P3D starts to load then I get an error: "Prepar3D has topped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." After I remove FLYINSIDE everything goes back to normal.

This error message is constant every time I reload and try to run your trail demo.

My system includes:
P3D.V4.5
Oculus Rift S (Allow Unknown sources)
SteamVR

My rig is an HP Laptop gaming computer: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU@ 2.60GHz, 32.0 GB RAM, 64-bit operating system, X64 based processor, 1TB SSD.

I'd really appreciate some help on this, since it appears that others are successfully running FLYINSIDE with P3DV4.5 and SteamVR.

Thank you,

Bob

What GPU does that laptop have ? Have you tried deleting or removing your P3D.cfg and restarting from the Flyinside icon on your desktop. And may i ask why you are running steam VR when you have a rift S ?

Hi Tony

I have a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design. No, I have not removed P3D.cfg.
As far as SteamVR, I realized that might be redundant so I closed it. But the error message still comes up. The reason I use it when I run P3D is that it allows me to adjust higher render resolution which provides better visual quality than the P3D VR selection (am I missing something?)

I will try to download and install after I remove P3D.cfg and see if that works.

Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob yes defo don't run steam VR and also rename the P3D.cfg to test this and also make sure you have no external camera utilities activated.

Retest and let me know. :)

Tony,

No P3D.cfg and no camera utilities running. Still get the error.
I down loaded the stand-alone FlyInside trial version and that seems to work, though not enough time to test all the functionality and really get a feel for the scenery quality.

Questions:
1. Does FlyInside allow the user to download other sim models: A2A, Carenado, Alebo, Aerosoft, Milviz, etc... I have a ton of sim models in P3d that I love to fly.

2. Is ORBX scenery compatible with FlyInside?

I will buy FlyInside once I understand all its capabilities and compatibilities.

Thanks,

Bob
