The other thing is that the native support in X-Plane 11.20 seems to also support the Vive Pro resolution properly. I don’t know if FlyInside was since the other stuff was so distracting, but it doesn’t in P3D so my guess is it wasn’t in X-Plane either. I wish I would have tried it before X-Plane updated but I didn’t.

Glad you fixed it, Robert.
I could do more testing to improve performance in native VR, however I have another problem. I'm flying the FF A320U exclusively and it is not VR ready yet. Actually, it does not displays the mouse cursor in native VR... So it is a no go for me anyway.,.
So please FI, tell me that you are working on this an that a patch will be available soon.

EDIT: ok, I read the post in the bug reporting forum from Tony saying that FI is not working with XP11.20 at the moment... will wait patiently...

It can be out any moment now, as Tony also announced elsewhere, so the wait should not be long anymore!

In native mode? But the Rift has another layer in there with the Oculus driver, and it’s also the standard resolution.

There’s enough differences that it doesn’t surprise me at all if the Rift works in native even with FlyInside still installed.

But to be clear, the Vive Pro also worked with FlyInside and X-Plane 11.20. It just had some distortion issues and presumably didn’t support the higher resolution.

To be honest, though, if it’s a choice, I'd much rather have FlyInside for P3D 4.x working than spend time on X-Plane. The native X-Plane implementation is really very good. There are some nice features of FlyInside I miss, but with the native being good, it’s not a big deal. P3D, on the other hand, doesn’t have near the polish on its native VR mode so I still consider FlyInside important there.

And hopefully all versions are getting refreshed with Pro/Odyssey resolution support and not just standard resolution on 11.20. Please... Please... :D

I do like the native VR in x plane but doesn't seem to be as stable as Flyinside i feel like Xplane 11 VR is as good as flyinside maybe it just works better with my set up...I like the world scale with flyinside the xplane 11 VR doesn't have...Hope they fix it soon!

Will Flyinside support the new VR windows for Plugins that were introduced with 11.20? I rather wait a little bit and have plugins working in X-Plane like they always did in FSX. Until then I can live with my 11.10 backup.

I tried 11.20 native VR, but FlyInside is just more mature. Adjustable Zoom hat does not require buttons to be pushed all the time, world scale,... There are simply so many little problems with VR that FlyInside already fixed.
