Building transparency?

Major downtown area (Boston, Seattle, et al) buildings fade into and out of view depending on distance. I have view distance at highest level. Does not happen outside VR. Is this normal in the current beta?

Vive, 1080, xp64bit, win10. I can provide render settings and FI settings if needed.

Thanks,

dh

That's been an FOV related issue since FIXP was released. The viewing distance of Autogen is crippled with FI. However it doesn't seem to be recognized by the developer. I wrote a long post about this a few weeks ago...

I am experiencing this too. And its pretty annoying.
The problem forces me to increase the drawing distance and complexity that hugely downscale performance but doesnt help much. Did anyone asked LR for the any alternatives in regard to FOV and autogen scenery detalization?

Static scenery works much better though.

Anyone here find a fix for this yet.. experiencing this with XP11.. if you use the zoom, you can see buildings that should normally be visible.. unzoom, poof gone.
