XP11 pb9 launch Flyinside and get a black screen?

Just updated to pb9.. now when i launch flyinside.. i see the splash screen initially then suddenly the window goes black and stays black..

Not sure if this is pb9 related or not, but it was fine with pb8 a few mins ago.. I tried reinstalling Flyinside, which didnt help.

Note that you can move the cursor over where the icons would be to resume/load etc.. and then click them.. then suddenly the splash returns and it loads up in a plane (resume) and you can see everything

Same here. Black screen after pb9.
The start screens seems to be blacked out, but kind of you can still press the buttons, by guessing where they are.
But even doing that the game is not loading.

same issue. Just upgraded to pb9 and now when x-plane opens, it gives a black screen and nothing else. When I open X-Plane normally (not from flyinside), it opens fine. So must be some issue pb9 created with the flyinside. Any ideas??

Yep.. Same here
When xplane is started conventionally all works fine, with flyinside it's blackscreen after a few secs of initial loading..

I've seen the black screen, although not at startup. If its similar to what I have seen the sim is running along fine, but the desktop display and the headset are black. If this is the case, when you get the black screen, go into graphics settings and change your anti aliasing setting, hit "done" and see if the graphics have come back. that's what has worked for me...

I can give you an all-clear signal: PB9 works for me just fine.

Yes, I encountered a black-screen right after starting FlyInside the first time with PB9. But with the second start everything was fine and I already flew some circuits without any problem.

PS: Even though I said that a thousand times before: ALWAYS make a 1:1 copy of your existing and working XP11 folder BEFORE applying an update. You are still participating in an public BETA. Expect errors, expect false behavior and report bugs if you happen to find them.

Same here, black x-plane window few seconds after start of FlyInsideXP.exe , Oculus show the standart Flyinside visual ..... and nothing happen ...
BUT :
in normal mode ( not under Flyinside) : i have the Xbox joystick plugged via USB cable and there is still a bug in the Betas that make Xplane asking to re calibrate this joystick just clicking on resume button ( selected by default when you start x-plane) .
So the work around ( temporary and not ideal) is to unplug Xbox joystick, start Flyinside , have the black screen, wait 8 seconds ( on my config), press enter which validate the "Resume" button you cannot see and wait until Xplane start as a charme .

This will just make us wait until xplane or flyinside teams correct the pb.

Same problem here, black screen. Tried some basic troubleshooting with no luck. Guess it's time for a coffee.

I got it working! Pressed "resume last flight" in the dark, and it came back up again
