Really ? As in the same type of black screen before ? You'll be the first :( any other info ? Can you reproduce it ? And definitely on 1.81 ?

Guys I have to say this is a bit frustrating that there's no fix for the controllers. I see on the Vive forum this issue has been discussed since at least May already with 2 responses from Tony already saying we're looking into it. Now the update is out and I kind of expected the program to finally work. And Tony is like what controllers?

I installed 1.81 over the previous installation as recommended. That is the version showing in my Control Panel.

After getting the black screen, I tried to disable HDR and continue the flight, but that was not possible. In the previous version at least you could do that.

I should mention that I have updated X-Plane to the latest beta after installing 1.81.

I will uninstall/reinstall Flyinside and give it another shot.

Sorry. I get a lot of questions and when posts are spread across different forum areas I can get confused (age) Did you try starting flyinside and removing the batteries from your wands and reinserting them? Others including Stevil see them all the time as should be the case? What time zone are you in? I can try to set up a teamviewer session with Dan for you to solve the issue hopefully?

I suspect that the reason that Tony responded in that way is that he probably thought that you were talking about a bug that had crept in as a result of the latest update, which as far as i know was always going to be about fixing the BS of death and introducing external views to FI XP.

I understand that it can be frustrating, when something doesn't work in the way you would like it to, but i am sure that it will be on the list for being fixed, hopefully for you, in the next update.

Yes please get in touch with me. I'm on Ukraine time. I play FI at least 2 hours a day so any day is ok. It would be nice to get this working so no one else has to go through what I did to make it work.
