Good day everyone,
Just like to share my thoughts after 2 weeks of using Flyinside, Xplane11 and P3D but just focusing on Xplane11 for this post as even though i love the results in P3D its seems like a waste of money when i could have kept the demo and got my 15 min of flying for free as VAS issue is just multiplied in VR..
Flyinside XP + Xenviro
*There is no work arounds you must use the 1.04 version of Xenviro for now and you can get the link from the Xenviro post on this forum page 2 if i remember right. (Delete your current version from the Resources/ plugins folder in xplane11)
*Turn off Atmosphere in Xenviro settings to eliminate anomalies and just shitty texture around water also a HUGE FPS boost and also looks awesome.
*Reduce Maximum visable range to 100kms BIG FPS saver and with VR anything above is just a waste.
*Post processing and Light scattering make minimal difference better just leave off.
Flyinside XP NO!! HDR
*Turn Visual Effects right down to minimal
*Go to Flyinside config file in App Data and change these settings to eliminate Dark cockpit.
[ColorAdjust]
Saturation = 1.06 (This is a personal setting adjust to your liking depending on scenery ect) My current setting is 1.25
Enabled = 1
DarkLevel = 1.4 (Again play around i seen people use 2.0 but that is extreme)
LightLevel = 0.5 ( My current setting is 15%)
Now that you have done that go and hammer you AA settings till you get the performance you like.
My In game AA sits at x16 and Flyinside sits at 8x for GA aircraft and i drop it down too 4x when flying tube liners and i can even read the Barro pressure on the Cessna Gauge and no more crappy horizons.
Thanks to all the guys who contributed to this forum and gave me the tools to go get my VR experience to a premium level.
Cheers
