Black screens of death, white screens of death, poor performance, jaggies, overall not so good appearance of the x-plane 11, judders etc with flyinside comparing to anything VR out there. Are you guys fixing it? Because currently to me XP is "unflyable" exactly with Flyinside.
Again, no problem on highest settings on VR DCS, Elite Dangerous, War Thunder etc. All sims in 2D running perfect, even in highest settings and photoscenes, overlays, complex planes, you name it. So it is definitely not on my side of hardware or software.
P3D is not so good either, number one problem is that with high P3D fps the VR fps is bottlenecking. Limiting fps inside sim to like 30 helps it, but it's not the proper way. Pretty much doesn't work with complex planes in large cities.
Any fixes coming up on both sims? When? Stuck in 2D for now. Flying Piper Cubs in Hawaii is not an option anymore. Thanks.

Black screen fix is hopefully coming soon. White screen ? What's happening there ? I get great results with xp11 and I just experimented until.i found my pc's sweet spot. I fly some heavies including the B777 worldliner with no probs at all. But we do have an update due this month that hopefully will help you out.

Like I wrote in another thread:

X-Plane 11 is final since 7 days. Give those devs some time to fix those bugs.
For the black screen issue: It works to set the texture quality to minimal/low until a fix is out.

It helps to set texture quality to low, it doesn't work. I've managed to get black screen after 10 minutes of flying with minimal textures. It only reduces the frequency of this occurence, doesn't eliminate it. It does work for me to change AA settings after it goes black, that allows me to continue the flight. (Most of the time, sometimes attempting this makes flyinside crash).
But the fix I'm waiting for the most impatiently is the clouds being rendered differently in each eye bug.

O, and I would love to see windows in VR!

I would be really excited if the bug with the default clouds (only displayed in one eye) would be fixed.
Xenviro just doesnt cut it, the default clouds are perfect but only in 1 eye...

I also have had black screen errors or random errors. Set in game textures down but still occurs. NVIDIA GFORCE 980TI with latest drivers, XPLANE 11 vanilla.

Happens whenever I fly the 737-800 for more than say 15 minutes.

SPECS (processor is shite I know, new one and mobo coming today!!)

EVGA NVIDIA GForce 980 TI ACX 2.0+ OC (Not overclocked by me, vanilla)

We fully expect to have a release with the cloud bug (among others) fixed within April, and working overtime to make it happen. Black screen is not as definite, but I've been collecting a lot of data thanks to stevil, so I know we'll get there. I'll post updates once I have something more concrete on that.
