Screen goes cross eyed

Postby mandk » Mon May 15, 2017 4:37 am

I am currently having issues which seems to happen most flight now, at some point out of nowhere my display will suddenly go crossed eyed!

As in (i think), the wrong image is on the wrong side. Viewing with both eyes open it's just a crossed over mess, I can only see whats happening really by closing one eye and even then the view is all stretched and odd.

Nothing but a restart seems to solve it

Thanks

That's a good way of describing it, I have same issue. My specs are basically the same with 1080.

Does not occur evey flight but occurs randomly requiring a restart.

If it's random this sounds like a sensor issue. Are you guys near a window or direct sunlight that could cause this ?

Potentially yes, i am sat in a conservatory. However, many many hours spent in the rift, never had the issue till now.

Any chance you could try in the dark one evening and see if the issue reoccurs? Just so we can rule it out ?

Hi Chaps,
I have had the same almost every flight, i just couldn't describe what it looked like..
I have tried in a dark room and it still happens.
Its not a sensor issue as far as i can tell.

Regards
Chris

OK So we need to see if you guys have anything in common here. All with 1080TI's or no ? Can you list your specs like the OP please ?

Same problem here, but rarely and random. My specs are below. Graphics-driver is 382.05.

Maybe it is helpful.
Intel i7 5820k, 32GB DDR-4, MSI X99A SLI Plus, Nvidia GTX-980ti 6GB, Windows 10 Pro, Saitek X-52Pro, HTC VIVE

OK guys, Time to start investigating. Did this happen before 1.8 ? As before, Post your specs with Windows version. Are you in the Rift beta option ?
