hello all,

i'm fairly new to xplane and flyinside. i think i installed everything the right way. i had the monitor and the oculus rift connected to the same graphics card, which gave me an error. i changed to another port but it is still crashing. i see the cockpit briefly but then flyinside crashes. hardware is gtx1080 and occulus rift with controllers.
any help would be much appreciated!

Do you have onboard graphics on your motherboard ? I see this in those lines = NVIDIA Quadro K2000

hello tony,

i have three actually, an onboard one on the motherboard Z270A-Pro, the Quadro K2000 for CAD (but nothing connected atm), and then the gtx1080 with the rift on one hdmi port and a 24 inch screen on the dvi. both on the gtx.
nvidia is the most recent driver, XPlane 11.01F something (the newest version). Oculus software is also the newest available.

also I have a Saitek pro yoke and throttle quadrant hooked up if that helps or might be an issue, I am using two of the rift desktop sensors to use the hand controllers. The usb stick for the x-box controller is also connected atm.
Unfortunately i installed the "plugin" from saitek to work with Xplane (https://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php on this page i chose xplane 64 bit plugin), but I couldnt find any folder it may have created in the plugin directory, not in the xplan11 plugin folder directly, nor in the appdata/roaming/ ... i also tried running xplane with the plugin folder removed but it asks me to put back some critical files, i did that one by one but it didn't change anything.
Also, I made sure to always resume the flight so that the view is in cockpit mode. I used the cessna 172 on a local small airport here LOWG.
