External views?

Postby helgeras » Tue Jul 04, 2017 1:25 am

Is it possible to switch to an external view when using FlyInside with X-Plane 11?
When I try to switch nothing happens, but maybe I am doing something wrong?

It is really good to see those external views and to be able to see an action replay of that really crap landing i just did.

Only kidding, i have just flown from Alicante-Elche (LEAL) to Heathrow (EGLL) in a British Airways liveried JAR A320 and landed on Rwy 27R, with no sign of any bumps, and made loads of use of the external views. The plane does appear to chuck out a fair bit of dark coloured exhaust at high altitude though, which proves beyond doubt that simulated flight is so much kinder to the earth than the real thing. :)

Back to having Team Jackets...

Team External Views vs Team Original Zoom. I'm with the former but so glad this has remained professional in the forums since we can all agree that 1.81 was a huge leap forward for FI XP.

Resolved Most Blackscreens, Crashes, Imported Windows, Reliability and External Views with one swing at bat.
Thanks T., S,. And D.

Perspective: July has been a VERY GOOD month for Flyinside (1.81), X-Plane (11.02), Oculus, Vive, Nvidia, and quite a number of 3rd party aircraft developers (IXEG, Flight Factor, etc). Landing Ratio is UP.
