Hi Tony,
Thank you for the information.
I checked the FI folder that you mentioned. There are only two FI files in that folder that are related to X-Plane. One is a FlyInside .ini file, and the other is a .bak of the .ini file. The other files (9) in the folder are all related to my FI P3D install.
I double checked the FI XP Pro install file. In fact, I re-downloaded the file, uninstalled the old FI XP Pro file, and reinstalled, using the newly downloaded file. Same results. Upon clicking on the FI icon on my desktop, I immediately get a message saying that the "X-Plane .exe has stopped working." This message occurs when trying to start X-Plane via the FI icon or the X-Plane icon. If I uninstall FI, X-Plane starts, and runs, normally.
I've considered uninstalling, and reinstalling X-Plane, but I really don't think that that's the problem, seeing as how it starts and runs normally when FlyInside is uninstalled.
Thank you for your help. I'm a retired airline pilot (United), and flight sims are the only way I get my "flying fix" now a days. For years I've used FSX and P3D. Only recently have I decided to try X-Plane. I'm really anxious to get it working with FlyInside. Since getting the Rift, and flying in VR, I just can't get into flying with a monitor. Totally spoiled!!
Thanks again.. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
