[Solved]Flyinside XP vs Oculus Client 1.17.0.4

Tony, et al...

I'm sorry but I need some professional help. I've been having latency issues for a few weeks and now recent with an Oculus Client App Update, X-Plane 11 is all but unusable. I seem to run everything else just fine - All Oculus Apps and other external sims like DCS... smooth as a baby's bottom.

My troubles start the second I start Flyinside. The Oculus "lounge" freezes, then latency introduces itself and it increases from there. Looking left or right, up or down, or sitting still will drag the frame anywhere I look. I eventually make into the cockpit... but latency freezes interrupts every 6-10 seconds and last 3-5 second in duration. I see the FI Interact Tab >>> goes something like this: 40/80; 38/90; 29/91; 15/75; "Loading"... 30/90, 29/82 etc.

Will a log help you help me? If so, consider it done. I will look up how to do just that.

Thanks

Have you tried unticking the beta options for xplane 11 ? That will auto roll back to 11.02. Have you done the investigating with system performance monitoring whilst playing? I can point Dan to this to see if he can help and maybe set up a teamviewing session with him mate ?

Absolutely. First, I will try the roll back and see what happens. By the way, how does one grab the log.txt, that I see posted here sometimes?

[Edit] Answer to first question: Sorry, no. I have not monitored system performance at all. If you're speaking of Performance Monitor under the Task Manager, I will open that next before the next run.

Yep,
CPU is peaked at the start of FI XP and every off-scale high indication is associated with a freeze.
???? I have no idea what changed in my system.

Ok the error and log text are in your appdata/roaming file tree and you'll find the Flyinside folder there. Check for the log file and post the latest here. Have you tried rolling the drivers back to an earlier version ?

Okay, here it is,Tony.

*NOTE* In the past hour, I uninstalled/reinstalled FI 1.81 and then 1.8103. No Joy.
The attached log is from the last run on a fresh install of 1.81 (less than 5 mins worth)

Another missed question upon review (sorry). I did roll back to the previous driver (384.76), but I was having issues well before the latest.

Hmmm I see an interesting part in the log here =

561 Low timewarp FPS detected when ASW should be disabled.
142.821 Oculus\ASWControl.cpp 23 Setting ASW enabled

Is ASW enabled mate ?

No Sir. I don't know anything about what Oculus is doing but ASW is disabled within Flyinside. No effect with it enabled, in fact in many cases it exacerbated the problem.

I will continue to troubleshoot on my end. But so far, I am 1:4 on getting it to run.
