X Lane 11 starts and loads to ready to fly. But sometimes freezes once the plane is loaded.
Other times it loads and does not freeze until recenter key is pressed.

PS It does load one out of five times after rebooting every time. When X Plane freezes and I use the task manager to close the program, it stays in the Graphics card memory until reboot.

Problem solved using oculus touch controller key for recenter or turn recenter window off during X Plane load and unit goes direct aircraft and the n tap rift to recenter.

Does this also happen without FlyInside?
Does it happen with the default C172 too?

X Plane works fine when not in Flyinside. This happens with the default planes 172 and Baron B58.
I will be receiving an HTC Vive unit in the next couple of days and will try using it vs Rift. I will let you know if there is difference.

Do you get any Flyinside error log or is the error system specific mate ?
