Oculus distortion problem

Postby wha » Mon Jan 08, 2018 2:42 pm

Hi

I am having some problems getting Oculus Rift to work with X-Plane and flyinside.

Everything starts up nice, but for some reason it appear as the vertical field of view and/or the rotation offsets get screwed up when I move my head vertically. The image stretches, and the only way to get out of it is to press the "Reset Visual Offsets" button in the X-Plane settings. But then it happens again when I go out of settings.

I have reinstalled both X-Plane 11 and Flyinside. No change.

Oculus Rift works in all other games.

Animated gif showing the problem. (I did not bend my head into the floor).

At the bottom of your settings page you have track IR ticked, untick that.

Done. Unticking that did not solve the problem.

Well. It is running decent enough.

It worked two months ago, cannot figure out what has changed. I have tried earlier versions of flyinside, but the problem remains.
Thanks for helping btw
