If FSX reinstall is needed...

Hope I'm not out of line here with this.
I've had FSX and FlyInside for years. Great!
Now, and maybe after a W10 update, I can't launch FSX.
It suddenly won't respond to my eager clicking..Just that little blue circle spinning for a second or two then nothing.
No error messages,Gulp..Nothing..

So I guess I might have to reinstall the beast ? so please can you tell me what I must then do to restore FlyIside to my NEW FSX?
And..
Is there anything special to do before I reinstall FSX?
Any FlyInside files to delete or not?
Or will all the FlyInside stuff not be affected by just a reinstall of FSX and maybe work ok without?
Any help on anything greatly appreciated and/or links etc.
Thanks
EDIT Should mention that my FSX is not a steam edition but my own DVD install.

I should have mentioned that FSX and FlyInside had been working perfectly until this suddenly happened.
No other games/ programs have been affected. Just FSX and of course FlyInside.
