Can't twist any knobs except of on the 737-800?

None of the knobs work with the virtual hands for heading, course, altitude etc. So far I have tried on the cessna 171, mooney bravo and the carivan...but on the 737-800 I get a slider pop up. Is that the only plane to be supported?

I'm having the same issue. There doesn't seem to be much discussion anywhere that this is a problem, so maybe we're doing something wrong. But I've spent most of today trying to just get the heading bug to move on the G1000 with no luck. I'm using the Baron G1000 aircraft. Any help would be appreciated folks!
