Outside views controlled with joystick hat switch

Postby tjitah » Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:03 am

Hi there, is there any way to configure FlyInside to use my joystick's hat switch (CH Products Fighterstick) for panning around the aircraft in external views, like I do in normal 2D flat-screen view?

My joystick was automatically configured by FSX to use the 8-way hat switch for view panning by default and it works wonderfully in 2D. However, when I'm in Flyinside VR and switch to external views, all I get is a static view from the rear of the aircraft and when I swivel my head, the camera swivels around my head position behind the aircraft and not around the aircraft, so my view remains stuck behind the aircraft. The joystick hat switch also has no effect whatsoever.

I would really like to see my aircraft from all angles and closer-up in VR. Ideally the view should rotate around the centre-point of the aircraft and be controlled by the joystick hat switch and NOT by having to swivel my head around.

Any help would be appreciated

Regards
Troye
