Hi there, I recently got myself a Rift S and now "rediscovering" VR flying in FSX with FlyInside. The Rift S is a massive step-up from the Rift CV1 in terms of image quality and smoothness!
However, there is one major annoyance which I can't recall having with the Rift CV1, and that is navigating the FlyInside menus. Perhaps I'm using a newer version of FlyInside now, but with the Rift CV1 I could use my mouse to move around and make selections. However, with the Rift S, it seems to have defaulted on the Touch controllers and my mouse pointer has completely disappeared, apart from when I enter FSX to choose aircraft etc.
Is there a way to exclude the Touch controllers or at least have my mouse active as well in the FlyInside menus?
The problem is that I sit at my desk, with my hands on the joysticks (mouse within easy reach) when I use FSX and FlyInside. When I use the Touch controllers, it bumps into everything including the monitor and it cannot reach certain menu options. Suffice it to say, I'm not a big fan of Touch controllers and far prefer joystick, mouse or even an XBox controller.
All the best
Troye
