Hey Chris, if things are running good, then I say go with it, but one thing I would change is the level of detail radius, and I personally believe that should be left on high since you have 16GB of RAM. I believe that you can minimize what is called " hard drive thrashing" when you raise the terrain lod from the default high of 4.5 to at least 5.5, and not to exceed 6.5. Prepar3D even sets this default to 5.5 in their config file because its so common these days to find users with over 4GB of RAM.

Chris, hope you're getting some FPS improvement from all of this.

Sylas, thank you for the killer work improving that FSX.cfg, I'll have to have you do mine some day

Absolutely! Your wish is my command, and I'll be more than happy to help out with this EXCELLENT project in any way I can. I had my job interview today, and now the obligatory waiting period to find out what my destiny holds...But it's looking good, and I will buy into the Kickstarter as soon as humanly possible. I've already used this product far more than the asking price, and I have ZERO issue with laying down some financial support. Well, talk is cheap....and money talks...and that makes no sense, but if you post your FSX.cfg, I'll take care of it right away. Same goes for anybody who needs help with their config files.

Is that a stock aircraft? We know there have been some anomalies with some aircraft.
