As a last resort before Dan sees this and helps, go to your appdata\roaming folder again , find microsoft folder , make a backup of your FSX config, delete it and let it build fresh. I also take it you haven't added any addons yet ? And are you in direct mode or extended mode in your oculus configuration ? try both. Do you get a blue led on your headset and tracking camera ?

I have the same problem. Before I installed FlightInside, FSX started. After I installed FlightInside, FSX did not start, giving the above mentioned error at startup (with the Rift both on and off). After I uninstalled FlightInside, FSX started again. I tried with Realtime 0.6.0.0, W7, DK2.

So FSX won't start even with the Rift turned off? If you uninstall FlyInside does FSX start properly?

Shoot me an e-mail, CrazyNorman@gmail.com and I'll walk you through a few steps to hopefully sort this out. Also, make sure you don't have any injector software conflicting with FlyInside.
