Hey techy111, that is something I tried many times, with no luck. Allways the same error.

Coming back to the dll's you were taking in the appdata folder? Which dll should be there? the d3d9.dll?

I just checked mine and have a flyinside fsx folder and a flyinside folder. Both have the configs in there, the d3d9.dll should just be in your main fsx folder. I know Dan is still working on all the versions of FSX at the moment and most seem to get best results with the Steam Edition. Not saying go and buy it ;) If you press your start icon bottom left in windows and then in programs do you see flyinside folder listed there giving you the option to uninstall ?

Another option is to try an older version after you deleted the current version.

I guess your talking about the Appdata\Roaming? The two folders you have "Flyinside" "FlyinsideFsx" just says that you also installed the alpha 1. Alpha 1 created/used the FlyInsideFSX folder and the new setup Alpha 7 uses just FlyInside. At least that is the result I can tell you after several installs of different version, might also be wrong :S

I heard that it's best working on SE, but first I won't spend more money just for a product I allready own and second I don't want to install the whole sim again :-|

Yes It gives me the option to uninstall ;-)

Edit: also installed alpha 1 with 0.6.0 and 0.5.1 oculus runtime without any change

I don't blame you lol. OK uninstall everything. Make sure all flyinside config's are removed , make sure the DCOC folder is gone and make sure the d3d9.dll has been removed.

Click here = http://flyinside-fsx.com/changelog.html

Get the FSX 0.6 version and try again. Sorry this is so long winded , Just want to try every possible avenue with you.

enb was disabled automatically because the setup has overwriten the d3d9.dll that was from the enb-shader mod :( (maybe flyinside should use another dll name for the flyinside-dll in further builds, just a proposal)

- FlyInside uninstalled -> no more dll / appdata folder / DCOC folder
- oculus 0.5.1 uninstalled -> reboot
- oculus 0.6 installed -> reboot
- fsx startet to ensure it's running and possible config files
- flyinside 0.6 (oculus 0.6.0) installed
- FSX startet -> aaaand same error back again... :-/
