RA Turbine Duke V2 and Tongass Fjords - Sublime

Postby CaptCWGAllen » Fri Aug 21, 2015 4:54 pm

Wow - took up the Duke - first time I have used a twin in FIFSX- it was amazing. Those big turbine engines sitting out in front of you, the winglet on the end of the wing (the wing looks massive, but in total proportion), great cockpit - gauges have a real 3D effect. Great frame rates. Beautiful scenery. Great FPS aswell.

A M A Z I NG !

Had to drag myself away.

Have a good weekend all

cheers
Peter

I know exactly what you mean, Peter!

My favorite twin is the P-38 Lightning and I usually fly that when I want to go fast. ;-) I run with Orbx scenery too to up the realism just that much more and man does it ever.

Flying FSX and P3D are so completely different now and so fun that it's impossible to describe it to those who haven't tried it. That has to be the biggest problem with VR. Until people try it for themselves, they just cannot know.

Have a great weekend too!
