FSX loses controller

Hi,
I am new to Flyinside and am using it on an MSI Laptop with the Oculus Rift, the problem I have is that halfway through a flight or sometimes I might have to pause the simulation, the controller which ia a Hotas Thrustmaster seems to disconnect from the simulator and it reverts to the mouse and I can't get it to work without resetting the simulator. Hopefully you can help.

Hi Pete,

I assume you have FSUIPC? I used to have the same problem, but assigning the joystick axes and buttons via FSUIPC solved it for me.

Thanks for the suggestion, I reprogammed the controller and disabled the flightsim one and it works perfectly now.
Time for me to enjoy it now....
