Flyinside Crashes At Startup

Flyinside crashes at startup with the following error message: Flyinside Fatal Error Encountered (-2147467262, 0) Hooks/FSX/D3D9/Direct 3D9Hooks.cpp: Line 80
System: Intel i-7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz 16 GB ram Nvidia Geforce 1070 Please see attached Flyinside error log

Do you have sli or on boards graphics or maybe ezdok installed ?

No, EZdok nor SLI setup on my rig

How do you have fsx set up? Are you using any addons that might conflict with flyinside ? Have you tried saving or renaming you fsx.cfg and let fsx rebuild on restart. Keep us updated on what is happening ?

Flyinside was working, but I upgraded to Windows 10 Home and did a complete reinstall of FSX. My system is Intel i-7 4820, 16 GB ram, Geforce 1070, FSX is Steam Edition. No new addons in this reinstall.

With win 10 you will get DX 11/12, can you make sure you have dx9 as well ? Just to make sure you can re download it here = https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... x?id=34429

Let me know. Also can you get into the VC or does it not go past the start up ? Also on steam go to FSX properties and re validate all files from the tab.

Ok, downloaded and installed DX9 still get the same error as previously posted. Don't understand why it worked before and now won't run. The only change is from Windows 7 to 10

You still getting the exact same error log ? Are you sure you have no old fsx residue folders from the upgrade ?

Forgot to delete the AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX and the ProgramData/Microsoft/FSX folders when I reinstalled FSX. Could fault lay within these?

It's possible mate, if they are old folders then delete them
