Yes totally disable SteamVR. I think you do that under settings or properties. Not at home but will check later. When SteamVR is disabled you can run standard steam and the sim should load just fine.

I've been all through the menu and cannot find that option anywhere.

Yeah, I had already done that...

Here's something fun... I completed uninstalled Steam (the proper way through add/remove programs), and it kindly DELETED every shortcut on my desktop that pointed to an executable. Yeah...

Arghhhh noooo :( ok mate time to step it up a bit. Go to the store or look on here for a post by Dan (admin). Under his posts is an email address. Contact him and we shall see if we can set you up with a teamviewer link up. He's very good at sorting things out.

Yeah that's the first thing I did. I emailed the support address but never heard back, is that the same one?

I wanted to take a moment and give an update to this issue...

Dan worked with me today for about an hour to get this issue resolved. While we did not completely work out what the true cause was, he did get me back up and running and will be continuing to work through whatever bug I have in the coming releases.

I just wanted to add that Dan was very polite and helpful in every possible way he could be. He intently listened while I explained and demonstrated my issue and remained professional throughout. This type of attitude and customer commitment speaks volumes for the future of this product and is an example that all companies should strive for with their customer service.

Thanks again, Dan, and also to Tony who facilitated raising my issue to the next level of support.
