incorrect placement of milky way texture at night sky

Postby pilotoring » Fri Mar 17, 2017 12:03 pm

When flying night at high altitude, I noticed the milky way is just outside of window, even closer than clouds. The stars are correctly placed at infinite. Hopefully this is something easy to fix.

I have noticed this also in my fsx se sim with FlyInside and the Rift. At first I thought the windshield was fogging but when I tried to wipe it off I knew that wasn't it! LOL :D If anyone knows a fix it would be great because I do a lot of night flights and it is rather distracting. Otherwise I'm loving my VR sim. Can't wait until the resolution is improved in the future.
