[Solved]Fsx Black Screen ?

Hi I hope someone can help!

I haven't been on flight sim in a few weeks so I updated graphics, fly inside and checked for any updates,
tried to have a nice flight round Mach loop!

BUT! I start everything as usual, and I get a black screen even though I can hear the sounds,
I switch to normal cockpit and I can see it in the left eye with a black background?

Any help would be great! (This is just in FSX, X-plane 11 works wonders!)

Forgot to add I'm using an Oculus Rift CV1.

Are you sure you're running the latest version of FlyInside?

Save or delete your fsx.cfg and try again and check you have the correct and latest version

Yeah 100% I re installed it, I found my reason....
I recently formatted my computer and forgot to re install sim connect

oops rookie mistake haha

I'm new to fly inside and just started the trial version with fsx and Oculus rift. When I can get it to work, it is really cool. However, I can't seem to get the challenges to work. That is, when I do free flight, everything seems to work great. When I try any one of the challenges, the screen is black, both on the Oculus and the mirror screen on the monitor. I did get one of the challenges to finally load, but then as soon as I looked around it froze up. Am I missing a config somewhere? Speaking of which, it would be really cool to have a full guide on how to set this all up. Thanks so much!

Can you post your system specs including windows version please and what version of fsx are you using ?
