OOM Issue

Hello everyone,

I have recently got my the Oculus rift and I am totally addicted to it. My 3 monitor setup with Ipads running apps that link with FSX and all the hardware I have for simming is now nearly worthless. Yep, the immersion factor is unbelievable and totally addictive. My issue is with VAS.
I understand that Flyinside uses some of our precious VAS and read everything I could find regarding OOm errors. I just want to know if I am doing everything right.
For example, a flight from CYYG to PAYA in a Carenado B1900 just about uses up all of my VAS ( at CYYG i start off with 2.55GB, 2 hours into the flight it is up to 3.25 GB and up on landing at I have 3.8gb, not much left!!!
In flyinside I have turned MSAA off and are using the second highest resolution.
I am using ASN, have ORBX Alaska, PNW, Northern Rockies, Orbx vectors and landclass etc. However I turn all the scenery I am not flying in to off, including PNW.
FSX setting are scenery density:Dense
Auto gen: medium
Other settings like mesh complexity etc are all set half way
Road traffic 10%, water is set to very very low, lod radius is 4.5. In fact, I have turned everything down to a medium or low setting.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Bart
