Screen Edges In Display

Postby Jimi » Fri Apr 20, 2018 8:04 pm

First, thanks for the great product. It has truly transformed my simming experience!

Everything is working great for me with the exception of one thing: Within my Oculus while running FSX, I see two black lines on the top left of my screen. No matter where I view within Oculus, those lines are glued there. I'm guessing it's representing the bottom right of my screen, as it will often show messages or indicators that would normally pop up there (Parking Brake in the case of the attached picture). I've tried adjusting the screen resolution for both FlyInside and FSX with no joy.

I've included a screenshot for better clarity

Can you point me in the right direction?

It looks like a pop in window for ATC or part of a pop up instrument panel, try disabling the ATC window. Have you tried using another aircraft, I had a similar issue regarding a payware aircraft.

To disable the ATC go into SETTINGS> GENERAL> in the upper right there is the "Show message in log in ATC menu" untick that.

Problem Solved!!!

For some reason, the screen border appears when I have "Light Bloom" enabled. Once unchecked, the box disappears...

Thanks anyways for your help.

Looks like I found the culprit. Seems as if the screen edges are somehow connected to "Light Bloom". If I turn it on, the edges appear... if I turn it off, edges go away.

Thanks anyways for the help.
