Can you put your pc specs in your signature ?
It may be your mouse , try cleaning the sensor or ball , whatever you use and try a different usb slot. Also make sure your dk2 camera is clean and in good view line of your glasses . Do you have the problem with any other demo or game on your rift ?

First off, thank you for making a pledge! I know that probably feels risky given that the Alpha is a bit rough around the edges, but I'll be improving it. When you say jump around, do you mean your view-point (location) is moving, or your view-angle (rotation)? Is it like a drift, a constant problem, or does it work properly for a period of time, then suddenly jump?

I don't think it's a mouse problem, probably a bug. Any addons or FSX plugins?

Hi,
just wanted to chime in here.
I get a similar issue.
95% of the time it's fine.
It seems if I spend a while (10-20secs) looking either hard left or right and then snap my head forward, my position gets reset to lower in the cockpit. ie looking under the dash rather than over it.

On the subject of drift.. My view seems to drift up (unnoticeably slowly) and I find myself resetting my view every 10 mins or so.
Same thing happens in DCOC on P3D.
From memory, I think it happens in DCS as well but never in Elite Dangerous. I don't view anything else in the rift long enough to comment.

If it helps, my rift camera sits on a box about 10cm above my desk height and I sit approx 100 cm from the camera when I have the rift on.

My fsx has a bunch of plugins but my p3d is clean as a whistle.

Hi,

Do you have any other add-ons running in FSX? How's the lighting on your room? I found that EZ-Dok and FIFSX are not willing to work together, so I have to disable EZ-Dok everytime I load a flight, no biggie, but for me sounds like a add-on issue.
