It is worth a look for aircraft that don't cost you anything and don't fall into the trap of thinking that they won't be any good.

For example, google Zibo's 737-800x, which is a much enhanced version of the 737-800 that comes with X-Plane and is being constantly improved.

Also, if you are into helicopters, the wheeled and unwheeled versions of the Bell 429, found respectively at https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f ... l-429-wlg/ and https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f ... -bell-429/ really are worth a try. Actually, that is probably true even if you aren't into helicopters.

All of the above work very well with Flyinside and the helicopters, in particular, benefit from the ability to look through the glass-panelled floor, to pick out your landing spot in a way that would be very difficult if possible on 2d screens.
