Trial - Only Worked Once

Hi, I downloaded and installed the trial. After doing so I went through the initial setup and then got to fly around for 7 or so minutes before the trial expired. I've tried to launch the trial again where on occasion it appears to be starting but then just returns me to my desktop. Should this be happening or should I be able to continually launch the sim for the stated 15 minute trial each time? Thanks

Hi Scott,

You should be able to run the 7-minute trial as many times as you like. How far does it get before it returns you to the desktop? Could you send over your system specs and your log.txt file? You can find that if you type %APPDATA%/FlyInside in File Explorer.

I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the trial but still no luck. I've attached a screenshot of how far the simulator loads before disappearing and returning to my desktop. My system specs are as follows;

Windows 10 Home (v1803)
Intel i7 6700K @ 4GHz
GeForce GTX 1070
16GB RAM DDR4
512 GB M.2 SSD
Oculus Rift CV1

Hi Scott,

Sorry to hear about the crash. I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Clear your settings, just delete C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\FlyInside\FlyInsideSimulator_settings.ini - My guess is some setting or config got messed up.
2. Please make a copy of the file first. I'd love to check out what went wrong if that fixes it.
3. if that doesn't help shoot an e-mail to dan@flyinside-fsx.com so we can do some deeper debugging.
