When FFS starts, the process CPU-priority is below normal

Postby fooleranto » Fri Feb 01, 2019 4:48 pm

Hello!

When I look at the process list, I see that the FFS process is running at "below than normal". Is that so correct and desired, or should it not be running on higher priority? Normally I set my games so, that their main process runs higher than normal. Can I do that with FFS, or do I mess things up?

With greetings from Germany

Hi Gunter!

I'm not quite sure what you're seeing. It could be a bug on our end, or quite possibly, an issue with whatever your using to see process priority (a screenshot could be helpful).

FIFS sets some threads to above normal priority, and others to below normal priority (not every thread within our process is time critical, some can wait). Maybe your process listing is getting confused by the differing thread priorities?

Thanks,

Hello Dan!

I use Process Lasso to look onto the processes.
